Ben Annand
DJ
In his zone from deep house to techno, Ben Annand pairs impeccably smooth mixing skills with a dynamic style that keeps the music moving, artfully playing with breakdowns and spending most of his time in the mix.
“For me, a great mix is the interplay of 2 unique pieces of music, creating something greater than the sum of the parts - and a great set weaves those mixes into a musical flow you can’t help but lose yourself in on the dance floor.”
Ben fell in love with dancing and electronic music culture in 1995, and learned to mix in 1996. Just 2 years later he became resident dj at the famed Moontribe Gathering, and started his own production company, Tropical.
The first half of his career was mostly focused on DJing abroad, with 13 trips to Moscow’s Propaganda club, frequent travel across Russia, Spain, and Mexico, an appearance at Wiggle at Fabric in London and two at the Labyrinth Festival in Japan.
In more recent years, Ben Annand became a top West Coast festival DJ, and has appeared at 6 consecutive Lightning in a Bottle festivals (CA). He has also appeared at 2017’s Oregon Eclipse (OR), Shambhala and Motion Notion (BC, Canada), and multiple times at Sunset Campout, Stilldream and Desert Hearts Festival (CA), Photosynthesis and Cascadia (WA), and Esthetic Evolution and Konnexion Festival (ID).
Ben has a long history in Mexico which started with traveling with his family as a kid in the late 80s, learning his first Spanish from reading menus and road signs. As a very young DJ in 1999, he held a summer residency at the infamous club Rimel in Mexico City. That November, he played with Moby and Carl Cox at the Aca World Sound Fest in Acapulco. Following this he made several trips back to Mexico City and Guadalajara in the early 2000s.
In December 2012 Ben was one of the headliners at the Metamorphosis Festival in Palenque. The world continued beyond the end of the Mayan calendar and so did Ben :) He made back to back appearances at BPM Festival at La Santanera in Playa Del Carmen in 2016 and 2017. Ben also played numerous times in Baja including Tijuana, Ensenada, and Canyon de Guadalupe. His most recent trip to Mexico was NYE 2023 in Puerto Vallarta where he co-headlined Teleport NYE with Kaminanda.
Ben has always felt a connection with nature, and is a specialist in DJing in outdoor formats. In 2017 he played his first-ever downtempo set to his then-wife’s yoga class, at the 30,000 person Oregon Eclipse: Symbiosis Global Gathering. He has been practicing yoga regularly for over 10 years, and got in touch with Portal Eclipse festival as he wanted to be involved in a smaller, more holistic event for the 2024 Eclipse. Ben is excited to coordinate a group of West Coast DJs who will play together on Saturday night, April 6th
As organizer of Tropical, Ben has donated over $32,000 to nonprofit causes, hosted zero-waste events in Hawaii, and presented gender-balanced dj lineups. Most recently he launched Bridge to Paradise / Music-Friendly DJ Booking to connect other organizers with stunning venues similar to the ones he has used for Tropical.
Whatever his project, Ben Annand is always contributing, and always thinking outside the box.

Al3xAndrovA
DJ
Al3xAndrovA, born Rositsa Aleksandrova, is a techno artist dj and producer, musician, fashion model, and an actress based in Los Angeles, California, USA.
Born in Bulgaria and spending her childhood in Russia, then France, Al3xAndrovA developed her raw talent from a very young age. Growing up as a classical pianist, Al3xAndrovA started composing in her childhood years. She grew up in a military family, frequently moving from country to country, was homeschooled most of her life and performing classical piano concertos with orchestra. She acquired 3rd degree black belt in karate shotocan and was Bulgarian national karate champion before she turned 14.
During her teenage years, she was drawn to electronic dance music and ever since she is always looking for ways to combine classical music with electronic dance music. She always says that performing acoustic is different as people sit and listen. They appreciate and enjoy, and sometimes yawn.
However, dance music engages them into movements and takes them on a more dynamic journey and therefore is more fun! “The synergetic exchange of joy between me and my dance-floor is my biggest high” - Al3xAndrovA is often quoted from her interviews.
She is a pioneer in establishing new genres - Healing Dance Music, for example, in 432 hz (that resonates on a cellular level with the listener and has beneficial effects on the body and mind) and Classical Techno (that has elements of progressive techno, trance, house, tribal house, acid techno, afro house, interlaced with classical music, shamanic indigenous and Indian vocals, Bulgarian music vocals and more).
Rositsa has composed thousands of tracks, songs, rhapsodies, sonatas, ballads, and a ton of classically inspired music that one day will hopefully get recorded and released. She doesn’t feel guilty for working on dozens of music projects on a daily. Some of the acoustic performances include classical piano, voice, pop, jazz, glockenspiel, harp, happy drum, and harmonica.
Al3xAndrovA also surely rocks the party with turntables, CDJs, or whatever DJ equipment is around and keys! In the last couple of years she has niched down to techno when it comes to dance music and nowadays her range is even more concentrated and niched down - 132-165 bpm. Her sets take you on a journey not only by unexpectedly varying BPMs but also a pinch of trance, dnb and house here and there.
In addition to making and performing music, Al3xAndrovA runs Alexandrova School of Music where she teaches as well, alongside various teachers from all over the world. The school has completely moved to the online space in 2017. It concentrates on teacher training and artist development, as well as music business consulting.
Rositsa Aleksandrova is CMG Fashion Weeks Worldwide Ambassador and a fashion model. Often she rocks the runway and performs music in the same event.
Rositsa is involved in many charities and constantly gives back,. Hope Driven (non-profit that helps out single parents), CASA (helps with housing, counseling, food and job placement victims of domestic violence and abuse), Pet Pal (animal shelter), UNICEF, Save The Children, Make a Wish, Philip Benjamin Tower Foundation (dedicated to the veterans), Charity: Water, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Public Piano Project, St. Petersburg Public Piano Project, Girls Scouts of the USA, John Hopkins All Children Hospital, Orlovskii Orphanage in Kyrgyzstan are some of the charities that Al3xAndrovA dedicates herself to.
She is constantly seeking ways of helping better the lives of those in need and inspire people to do the same and live in light.

J.Handel
DJ
Many Blessings, J.Handel here.
I am beyond grateful to share music, vibration, love & joy with you all at our Eclipse gathering in Mazatlan!
This will be an incredibly memorable experience for us all. This opportunity to provide musical soundscapes in the beautiful coastal Mexican town of Mazatlan during this Spring’s Solar Eclipse is truly a dream come true.
A little about me: San Diego born & raised. My dj journey began in 2010 shortly after attending my first rave in 2009. Through these past 13 years I’ve continued to seek experiences and environments that would expose me to new sounds, feelings, and emotions that will continue to evolve the way I share music. My truest passion exists in creating spaces where people can feel comfortable.
Now residing in Las Vegas, I keep my offering abundant through my two event companies. Subtle Sol, established in 2016 with a focus on downtempo house music; and Subtle Bass, my newest event series created in June 2023 at AREA15, offering an outlet for art, self expression, and deep bass music.
I have also been actively creating and collaborating in wellness activations since January 2021. Offering musical backing to soundbath ceremonies as a dj and a practicing sound healer via Gong, Sound Bowl, Flute, and other uplifting instruments.
In November, 2023 I had the opportunity to put all the pieces of my 13 year journey together as the Music & Sound Coordinator, Sonic Guide, and Environment Curator for Action Mastery’s wellness retreat in Tulum. This experience was truly life-changing and aligned my soul with its truest expression of purpose, and I’m thrilled to expand upon this alignment in the path of totality with all of you in Mazatlan this April!
Much love & gratitude,
Jordan

Aerial Harmony - ft. Bootleg Sunshine
Live music and Aerial arts
Aerial Harmony
aka @bootlegsunshine + @aerial_amy_maui
Pounding Spanish guitar accompanies a daredevil aerialist spinning audacious love stories. They come from snowy mountains peaks and steamy island jungles, with pastoral vocal melodies floating atop deep Afro-Cuban beats. This pairing is playful and perilous. Bootleg Sunshine's music flows from nuevo-flamenco to modern percussive finger-style. Aerial Amy soars high on lyra, silks, trapeze and many other cirque disciplines. Her dance-of-flight is the visual melody manifest. Sweet little lullabies become epic virtuoso improvisations, like raindrops transform into the heaviest funk grooves.

Angeni will be joining Raul at Portal Eclipse Festival Friday April 5.
Angeni is an eclectic musician that offers an intuitive look into the healing frequencies of sound. Working with other like-minded musicians she intertwines transcendent vocal phrasing with what is present in the shared physical and energetic space. Ultimately, her life's work is to facilitate common ground among humanity through artistic expression and language as a vessel to connect all hearts and higher consciousness for the highest good for all beings and the planet.

Agnieszka Evenson
Speaker and Workshop Facilitator
Main stage talk - Sunday 12pm
workshop ($15) - Sunday, 5:30pm
There is no more important task in this life than making your mind and body congruent. It helps you feel well seated within yourself, helps you to communicate clearly with others and be generally unfuckwithable.
With a unique combination of skills and alternative education, some brought along through generations of ancestors, Agnieszka can see deeper when she looks at your face and body. She can help you see what is going on with you on the subconscious level by looking at your face and body.
Agnieszka has been working to develop a deep understanding of human nature. There are energies and patterns, physical and emotional, that influence your well-being and your ability to shine every day.
Your habitual patterns are written all over your body.
When you find yourself experiencing stuckness in your life these habitual patterns may be at fault. They may even be affecting your ability to create your own happiness.
Are you dedicated to creating a world where you delight in living?
Are you living the life you want to live? Do you wake up energized and well-rested? These challenges can be assisted by shining a light on how you have been managing the energies and patterns within your body.
Through a deep study of a variety of coaching techniques, a 10-year exploration of Psychosomatic Therapy and Body Mind Analysis as taught by the Psychosomatic Therapy College of Australia... through connecting with her roots as a practitioner of Slavic Shamanism, Agnieszka has all the tools to help you shine today.
As a transformational coach, she will empower you with an understanding of how to dramatically shift your current barriers and make way for what you desire.

Maksims Kačanovs
Speaker
What is the common factor in changing your life on emotional, mental and metaphysical level? It is attention or focus. Yet it seems we know very little about this process and how it is influencing everything we do. From making decisions in daily life, emotional intelligence, solving problems and being in a creative flow to a metaphysical level where what one observes actually changes reality. We don’t even think of attention or focus as being valuable, time is money is what people say and that is most definitely avoiding the truth that without focus time is worthless!
Maksims has lived in different countries and followed different interests in his life, all of which has contributed to what he is doing now. Throughout his life he has been learning new skills and creating networks around him. For him, to encounter a challenge is to grow. If there are no challenges, he will set his own. He used to believe in chance and coincidence but slowly and because of researching and experiencing he started seeing a pattern to it all. Now the most important thing he thinks he can do is share his knowledge and understanding of what governs us on individual level and changes the world at the same time.
His experiences range from working with light as an artist, being a teacher of different subjects like technology, visual arts, storytelling and creativity to a technician that takes on any challenge that comes in front of him, living off-grid and learning language after language Maksims explored different fields in work in life. Currently his life is changing again, exploring spirituality by connecting to Mexican culture and using his knowledge of electromagnetism and attention to make sense of it. He wants to share everything he knows.

Mitch Earle
Workshop Facilitator
Life Visioning Workshop - Friday April 5 @ 4pm
Mitch Earle is a licensed spiritual counselor through Agape International Spiritual Center (Michael Beckwith) since 2006. He has facilitated numerous Life Visioning workshops online and in-person. Mitch is a former local radio news anchor with NPR member-station KCRW in Los Angeles, California.
Life Visioning is a simple, straight-forward way to access one’s inner knowingness of their highest and best. It begins with a centering meditation, anchored in unconditional love. It then segues into a series of five or six questions to invite a present awareness of what is wanting to emerge in one’s life. The seminal question is, “what is God’s/Life’s highest vision for my life?” Life Visioning is best done in community, where the energy and flow is amplified.
